We are a small, Melbourne-based registered animal welfare charity with a big mission: to give the most vulnerable and forgotten animals a second chance at life.
The animals that come into our care are often victims of abandonment, abuse, neglect, or significant trauma. Many require extensive veterinary treatment and long-term rehabilitation before they can begin to heal. This can include cancer treatment, orthopaedic surgery, tumour removal, eye surgery, specialist veterinary care, behavioural rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, confidence-building programs, obedience training, and socialisation.
We believe that every life has value. No animal is too old, too broken, too traumatised, or too difficult. We stand by them throughout their journey and continue to provide support even after they have found their forever homes.
Beyond rescue, we are deeply committed to supporting people and pets in our community. Through our outreach programs, we provide free pet food, essential supplies, and veterinary assistance to families experiencing hardship, helping keep beloved pets where they belong—with the people who love them.
Our mission is simple: to create a kinder world for all creatures. We achieve this not only through rescue and rehabilitation, but also through education, advocacy, and affordable community programs that promote responsible pet ownership and stronger human-animal relationships.
This year, Australia is facing one of the most challenging animal welfare crises in decades. Shelters and rescue groups are overwhelmed as increasing numbers of animals are being abandoned, surrendered, neglected, or left to fend for themselves. The demand for assistance has never been greater.
That is why we are raising funds through this lottery.
