Tips and tricks for selling.
Use your social platform and email databases. Social media and emails are a great way to directly communicate with your audience and provide them with an easy, direct link to buy tickets. Here are some promotional ideas you could include:
- Showcase all the great prizes that can be won! From 1st prize, a Toyota Kluger Hybrid GX (valued
at $63,861!) to $5,000 Phil Hoffmann Travel Vouchers, there are prizes everyone
will want to win. - Explain how funds raised will help your community group. Tell your story, let them know how their support
will be helping their local community.
Host an event. Whether it’s at your sporting game, a winter fair or a sausage sizzle, here are a few tips on how to sell Community Lottery tickets at an event.
- Why not create a QR Code? Add it to our new QR poster template and display it at your event. This will direct people straight to your Community Lottery page so they can easily buy tickets from your group.
- Bring a mobile tablet such as an iPad. Preload your Community Lottery fundraising page and have volunteers roam around and ask people to purchase tickets for your group, or setup a Community Lottery stall where people can come and buy tickets.
