No Strings is a creative space in which performers living with disability are positioned as authors, creatives, and decision makers.
We hold space for disabled people to explore, challenge, and grow their own capacities, learn new skills, and hone their craft in order to develop new employment pathways in the Arts.
Our work is created in collaboration with professioal practicing artists. It challenges society’s low expectations and celebrates ability, by positioning performers with disabilty as creators, collaborators and decision makers in the process of developing and delivering professional theatre and film works.
Disability arts is an ecosystem that supports artists with disability to thrive, to develop transferable life skills, to build social cohesion, and to participate in social, cultural, and economic life.
