Moreton Bay Bugs Boccia Club Inc

Moreton Bay Bugs Boccia Club is a volunteer-led, disability-inclusive sporting club based in the City of Moreton Bay. We provide weekly Boccia programs for people of all ages and abilities, creating opportunities for participants to be active, develop skills, build friendships, and experience the benefits of belonging to a supportive community. Our club welcomes players ranging from social participants through to state, national, and international competitors, including people with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, neurological conditions, and age-related mobility challenges. Beyond our weekly training sessions, we deliver school outreach programs, disability day service sessions, come-and-try events, and community engagement activities that introduce more people to the sport and the benefits of inclusive participation. We also provide pathways into local, state, national, and international competition while advocating for greater accessibility and inclusion across sport and recreation. Our mission is simple: to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate, connect, achieve, and thrive through the sport of Boccia, regardless of ability, background, or experience.
