Founded in 1931, the Glenelg Baseball Club is one of South Australia’s longstanding baseball organisations. Based at Anderson Reserve in Glenelg North since the early 1960s, the club operates from a large, purpose-built facility within Adelaide Shores Recreation Park.
The club features high-quality, international-standard playing grounds, including three full-size diamonds, batting cages, and training areas, enabling it to host major events. It runs a strong competition presence, fielding numerous senior and junior teams in state leagues, as well as participating in winter baseball.
Glenelg Baseball Club is also an active host of significant events, including the annual South Australian Country Championships since 1970, and has a reputation for welcoming interstate and international teams. Overall, the club provides year-round baseball opportunities, development pathways, and a hub for local and visiting baseball communities.
