Eastern Emergency Relief Network Inc

The Eastern Emergency Relief Network Inc (EERN) is a totally volunteer run not for profit organisation that has been operating in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne for 30 years. EERN repurposes second-hand furniture, whitegoods and other household goods for distribution as emergency aid to families or individuals who are in need of assistance. EERN assist those who are identified by our partner community organisations as having urgent needs. These needs are created by many factors such as long-term illness, unemployment, homelessness, loss of home and belongings through fleeing family and domestic violence, natural disasters. Clients often have limited resources and cannot afford buy essentials such as furniture, other household goods, bedding, basic food and personal hygiene products. EERN provides everything free of charge to clients.
