The Athelstone Tennis Club is situated in the picturesque Max Amber Reserve. Involved in the Eastern Districts Tennis Association the club has a large group of Junior and Senior tennis teams competing across Summer and Winter tennis competitions

Peter Clark who is the head coach, and one of Adelaide's leading tennis coaches, has been with the club for about 20 years. The Summer 2022/23 season will see over 30 junior teams along with senior teams. Many of the junior players are within the top 10 players in their age groups within the state
