We microchip lost and found cats and kittens for microchips we also checked deceased cats if no microchip we keep them while searching for the owner, if no owners can be found after 30 days they are sent for cremation.
We trap unowned cats and kittens in the Hills district
we trap in industrial l and commercial areas
we have trapped 3 Adult cats and 24 kittens in the Mt Barker area this year.
We socialise, desex, Vaccinated and microchip the cats and kittens and then place them for adoption.
We have socialised unowned semi feral kittens for the council and community and domesticate them
We also loan our trap to members of the community if there cat has escaped their home
we educate the community about cat bylaws and the importance of desexing and microchipping and we advocate for Cat containment to keep our wildlife safe.
All cats and kittens we adopt are for indoors homes only
