The Athelstone Tennis Club is situated in the picturesque Max Amber Reserve. Involved in the Eastern Districts Tennis Association the club has a large group of Junior and Senior tennis teams competing across Summer and Winter tennis competitions
Peter Clark who is the head coach, and one of Adelaide's leading tennis coaches, and has been with the club for about 20 years.
Athelstone Tennis Club has been a proud part of the local community for 50 years, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all ages and abilities. From our thriving junior programs to social and competitive tennis, we are committed to encouraging participation, fostering friendships, and promoting healthy, active lifestyles.
Funds raised through the People’s Choice Community Lottery will go directly towards resurfacing our tennis courts and upgrading our court lighting. These essential improvements will provide a safer, higher-quality playing experience, extend court availability into the evenings, and ensure our facilities continue to meet the needs of our growing membership and the wider community.
