Southern Koala and Echidna Rescue

Southern Koala & Echidna Rescue are at the forefront of the fight in South Australia to protect and rehabilitate injured native wildlife. The charity has been responsible for the rescue, veterinary care and rehabilitation of many koalas, echidnas and over 70 other native species that have fallen victim to bushfires, vehicle strikes, disease and other forms of misadventure including run-ins with domestic dogs and cats.
SKER is more than just a rescue, we operate South Australia's only veterinary facility dedicated solely to wild native animals with research partners across the country to ensure no life lost is in vein.
