Woollybutt Wildlife Rescue Inc

Woollybutt Wildlife Rescue Inc is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit wildlife rescue organisation based in the Northern Territory. We provide 24/7 wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and support across Darwin, Palmerston, rural and remote areas of the NT.

Our volunteers respond to injured, orphaned and displaced native wildlife, providing emergency rescue, rehabilitation, veterinary care and ongoing support until animals can be safely returned to the wild. We care for a wide range of native species, including wallabies, possums, birds, bats and reptiles.

We also work within our community to educate people about local wildlife, encourage responsible wildlife care and promote the protection and conservation of native species and their habitats. As a volunteer organisation, we rely heavily on donations, fundraising, grants and community support to continue our work.
