John Hartley School B-6

We are a B-6 government school that has a strong support network from our diverse community in the northern suburbs.

Our Children's Centre provides not only access to a pre-school based program but community access for occasional care, community playgroup and allied health supporters for 0-5 year olds. Being a shared site, the transition to school is a welcoming process, especially for our EALD and aboriginal community.

Our school provides exceptional support to our families and students through encouragement for outdoor play and activities.

This has been challenging in the past 12 months as we lost nearly a third of our class structures due to arson and the temporary buildings have taken over our outdoor play space. We still have twelve months until our rebuild will be accessible for learning.
During this time, John Hartley School will be fundraising towards our Outdoor Learning Environment.
