Creating the foundations

to rebuild

RizeUp supports individuals and families rebuilding their lives after domestic and family violence. Working alongside specialist domestic and family violence services, we provide practical, tailored support that walks with victim-survivors as they establish stability after violence.

Our programs respond to the individual needs of every family, from furnishing homes with essential household items to providing access to health services while supporting children's education and wellbeing. By removing barriers, we help create the foundations needed to rebuild after violence.

Every home we furnish, every child we support and every family we work alongside is a reminder that practical support can make a lasting difference. Together with our partners and supporters, we're helping individuals and families move forward with dignity, stability and the opportunity to begin again.

When you support RizeUp through the People First Community Lottery, you become part of that journey.

RizeUp Programs

At Home: The At Home program helps transform empty houses into safe, welcoming homes for individuals and families rebuilding after domestic and family violence. Every home is thoughtfully furnished with essential furniture and household items, creating stability, comfort and the foundation for a fresh start.

Health & Wellbeing: The Health & Wellbeing program provides access to services that support recovery and long-term wellbeing. This includes counselling, psychological support, physical health services and other essential care that many individuals and families would otherwise struggle to access.

Youth Program:  Our youth program supports young people rebuilding after domestic and family violence by providing access to education, extracurricular activities and opportunities that foster confidence, connection and belonging. The program helps ensure children and young people affected by domestic and family violence have access to the opportunities, resources and support they need.
