Orana NSW Inc. is a local, ACNC-registered charity running free services for the people who need them most. From our generalist neighbourhood centre in Sutherland to our women's-specific space in Gymea, we meet people where they are.
Here's what your support funds:
Free community meals & pantry — weekly hot meals and a community pantry open to anyone doing it tough or wanting to connect with others.
Free support groups — Dementia Carers, Grandparents raising grandkids, Single Mums Connect, COPAC (for parents of adult children with mental health or addiction challenges), Second time Around Mum’s Group and more. Weekly, local, and genuinely life changing.
Orana Early Support — free weekly home visits for eligible new parents navigating postnatal depression, disability, isolation, or multiple births. Up to 12 months of one-on-one support when it matters most.
Domestic & family violence services — triage, case management, emergency assistance, free counselling, and free legal advice for women experiencing domestic and family violence.
Counselling & POPPY playgroup — free in-home counselling for families with children 0–5, and a weekly playgroup for mums experiencing anxiety, depression or other mental health challenges.
Orana Lions Men’s Goups is a free fortnightly group for men to connect over a meal, games, books and more
35+ weekly social groups — because connection is the best medicine.
