Sensory overwhelm, disability, anxiety, communication needs, mobility, transport and unfamiliar environments can all create barriers to accessing basic haircare.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eRather than expecting the person to fit into a traditional salon environment, Territory Trims adapts the service around the person. This can include longer appointments, quieter options, visual supports, sensory resources, breaks, flexible pacing and an individual approach to communication and comfort.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe initiative is already progressing beyond an idea.
